To Whom It May Concern:
The Sumner Valley Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 39-3946669) dedicated to supporting and strengthening the Sumner community through charitable initiatives, educational programs, and community development projects. Our mission is to empower local families and organizations by providing resources and opportunities that create lasting, positive change.
Through grants, partnerships, and community engagement, the Sumner Valley Foundation proudly supports local schools, youth programs, and community projects that enrich lives and strengthen connections throughout the Valley. We believe that investing in our youth and community today builds a stronger, more vibrant tomorrow.
SVF is led by three Sumner community members; we are parents who are raising families here and are deeply engaged in local education, athletics, and businesses. We are directly part of the community we aim to support and improve, and we bring that lived connection to everything we do.
Every dollar is stewarded carefully. Funds are used only for (1) essential organizational costs, such as website hosting, state registration, and insurance (budgeted to be less than 5% of total spend), and (2) grants, programs, and projects that directly benefit the Sumner community. No salaries, stipends, or discretionary reimbursements are paid to the board or volunteers; all of our time and effort is donated, so the maximum possible amount of resources goes into the community.
All contributions to the Sumner Valley Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless otherwise noted. Your support directly helps us continue our work improving lives and fostering community growth in the Sumner Valley area.
If you have any questions or would like additional documentation regarding our nonprofit status, please contact us at Hello@sumnervalley.org or visit Sumnervalley.org.
Thank you for your generosity and belief in our mission. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the Sumner community.
Sincerely,
